Partnership Manager (Lender Acquisition)

Full-time, Remote

About the Role:

As a Partnership Manager, you will be the driving force behind the growth of our lender network. You will identify, engage, and onboard new financial partners, including banks, microfinance institutions (MFIs), and SACCOs, onto the Fumbua.ke platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential new lending partners across Kenya.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and commercial terms.
  • Manage the entire onboarding process for new partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote our partners’ products effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably within the Kenyan financial or fintech sector.
  • Strong network of contacts in local banks, MFIs, or SACCOs is a major plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

Financial Content Writer

Part-time / Freelance, Remote

About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and knowledgeable writer to create engaging and informative content for our blog and website. Your work will help educate our users on financial literacy, guide them through the loan application process, and build trust in our brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, concise, and SEO-friendly articles on topics like personal finance, loan guides, debt management, and budgeting.
  • Research industry-related topics to ensure content is accurate and relevant to the Kenyan audience.
  • Create compelling descriptions for our partners’ loan products.
  • Contribute to our social media content strategy.
  • Proofread and edit content before publication.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or journalist, with a portfolio of published articles.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
  • Knowledge of personal finance, loans, and the Kenyan financial landscape.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Ability to translate complex financial topics into easy-to-understand content.
